I enjoy my black teas with lemon and a hint of sweetener. This is one of Stash's finest.

"Encompassing snowcapped peaks to lush plains, Nepal has every climate zone found in the world. It is a country of diverse landscapes, peoples, cultures, and languages, nestled among the highest mountains in the world.

Only five years old, the Everest tea estate is located at 5000 feet in Nepal's central Himalayas. The estate cultivates tea bushes on 4000 acres of lush, virgin land. The tea bushes here are quite young -- 4 to 6 years old, and as such, produce tender leafs. Ideal growing conditions -- pure mountain air, the right combination of sun and shade, and abundant rain, help to produce an exquisite black tea, processed in the traditional Orthodox method.

The Everest Tea Estate supports the principals of Fair Trade and equal - opportunity employment. The tea estate also provides social services, health care and schools for the surrounding villages.

This easy to drink, delightful tea is golden in the cup and rich in flavor with a slightly sweet aftertaste." (via stashtea.com)
