They have been deemed ugly, a flash in the pan, stupid, and generally one of the worst trends around...but I am willing to bet those that seriously detest Uggs have never slipped their toes into a pair. As a fashion-conscious girl, I have worn my share of very-cute, insanely-uncomfortable shoes. Uggs are the most comfortable things I own, and kind of adorable (in my humble opinion)...Despite being the most hated footwear available (after Crocs, of course), they can look very cute when worn with a skirt and bare legs...just make sure you got the 'tude (and the legs!) to pull them off. I was against getting boots for the longest time. I borrowed them one time from my friend and instantly fell in love with them. 'Santa' brought them for me this Christmas and i have barely taken them off. When worn without socks, they keep your feet at room temp no matter how hot or cold outside!

these are the most awesome boots- very high quality, and extremely durable. they adapt to wherever you are, and oh-they feel o so wonderful. It's a true luxury thought, yes it is. the uppers can be folded down for another look, and its perfect for just any tie you walk out of the house on a chilly day. I love these classic tall boots, and they really show the true hand craftsmanship for UGG Australia.

I have these in black, and they never leave my feet in the winter. You have to get the tall Uggs, because then when it's extra cold you have a few extra inches of warmth, and when you want to you can roll down the top and have a cute fur cuff at the top. So versatile, so comfortable, and so warm, these are the perfect winter boots!

I'm still debating the whole Ugg boot thing. I have picked out the pair I would get if I decided to take the Ugg plunge. I'd go for the Classic Tall Boot. I get the feeling that this is the uber-popular Ugg since Nordstrom plainly points out on their site that sizes and colors are limited and they will only sell a maximum of four pair to each household. Good thing I only need one pair. (via Adventures in the Stiletto Jungle)
