Description

Effortlessly incorporating the functionality of a garlic press, this Citrus Press allows you to squeeze the juice of a single lime or small lemon half over a cooking dish, salad, or whatever needs a touch of citrus.

Description

Add me to the chorus here. There is no inexpensive citrus juicer on the planet that comes close to these little marvels. It's true they work in a manner I can only describe as counter-intuitive, with the cut edge of the lemon or lime facing away from the domed press. But once you realize that the point is essentially to turn the fruit inside out in the process of extracting its juice, you'll get the brilliance of it.

The metal ones, especially the enameled metal ones, are hard to find. Don't be fooled by the plastic knock-offs, they can't possibly stand up to heavy use. I've also seen larger ones for squeezing oranges and even grapefruits, but they're even thinner on the ground than the lemon/lime models.
