The Sony DVDirect VRD-MC5 is a DVD burner that you can easily use to get all of your VHS tapes onto DVD. The DVDirect is a stand alone device that you connect your VCR's outputs to and then you can see what you are recording to the DVD via the LCD screen on the DVDirect. You are also able to use it do transfer from camcorders to DVD. There are some features you can use to edit your DVD such as adding menus and music. You are also able to load digital photos to DVD and use slide show features for those.
