Those geniuses at Umbra have perfected this idea. The books floating in the middle of the wall is creative and arty, and it saves me so much floorspace I will never ever have to consider getting rid of a book again!! Mwa-ha-ha-ha!!!!

I bought two of these to display all my acting biographies/Method books in my living room and find them to be an excellent conversation piece. They get the job done without distracting from the centerpiece. Who wants to stare at bookshelves? I just want people to be able to scan my favorites easily!

A bookshelf that I can put anywhere without taking up loads of space. I also like the optical illusion of the books "floating in air". As I'm typing up this recommendation, I'm picturing the many places in my house where I can place these. Thanks to the many other recommendations I know that they truly are functional as well as just cool.
