I love this thick greek yogurt. It has a little tang and is very filling. Great with Honey, Toasted Walnuts (or other) Dried Cranberries, Raisins, fresh/frozen berries...mmm. So much can be done with it. Can also be used as a lower cal. alternative to Sour Cream. I usually get the Low Fat one but 2% is good too

It's practically fat-free and it's way better than normal yogurt.

I have always been in the "eat yoghurt because it's good for you" class of yoghurt eaters. I have to mix in some fruit or granola. Not one bite can be just yoghurt by itself. Obviously, I don't eat it for the taste.
This yoghurt, and the Trader Joe's version, is completely different, at least to my tastebuds. It's more like creme fraiche than the yoghurt Americans traditionally eat. It's less tangy and it's thicker. My son and I have gone absolutely nuts for it, and I am even considering eating it by itself. Or maybe with a tiny bit of sugar, which is how I eat creme fraiche.

When I was growing up, my mother, who is Armenian, would make thick, creamy yoghurt that "grew" from a starter under a mohair blanket. Not until I tried Fage Greek yoghurt from Trader Joe's did I taste a yoghurt that approached her version. I now buy it by the dozen and eat it with fruit for breakfast or a snack... both because it's fantastic and because I haven't had very good luck making the stuff myself!
No pectin. Not too tart. Thick. Great single-serving size. (via gordon)
