This was my grandpa's armchair. It sat next to a Noguchi coffee table. When I used to visit my grandparents, I always wanted to sit in it, but it was grandpa's chair and you only got to sit in it when he genuinely wasn't going to.

It is very much like sitting in a well worn in baseball glove; you relax into it like it was an old easy-boy recliner, but it is beautiful.

My grandpa passed away last year and now my uncle has his chair. Every time I see this chair on television or in a store, I think of my grandpa and his and my grandma's incredible sense of style.
