This is a mostly natural, aluminum free alternative to other deodorants - but this one really works. To use, you wet the bar and apply. The texture is powdery and creamy, but not gloppy. The scent is light patchouli, but not too hippy-ish, not that there is anything wrong with that. :-) This is not an anti-perspirant (sp), although I think I somehow sweat less when wearing it. Shipping from Lush takes a while (it's in canada), but I they are a good company with a lot of great products. This product isn't packaged - it just is wrapped in paper. We keep it in a soap dish on some rocks, so it can drain. Both my husband and I wear this daily and are both happy with how it works.
