I want to go to this festival SO BADLY!!!!! I love every single headliner (Radiohead, Jack Johnson, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, and more...) and there's a ton of bands in addition to the headliners that I love as well. In addition, the festival has an eco-village! That's pretty awesome - to be able to pull of a festival of this size and be green about it. Go SF (it is a terrifically green city after all)

I decided not to go to this last year and therefore broke my own heart. A 3-day music festival in Golden Gate Park, Outside Lands is being compared to a Northern California version of Coachella. Radiohead and Tom Petty performed in 2008, and this year's lineup includes Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Beastie Boys, M.I.A., Modest Mouse, Incubus, Black Eyed Peas, Tom Jones, and many more. Personally, I'm planning on going for Tom Jones alone. You only live once.
