If you have a large garden, having pet chickens may be a good way to ensure the eggs you eat are cruelty-free.

Eglu is a shelter for chickens designed to be easy to clean, nice to see and confortable (haven't tried it personally, though :-).

Wooow this is so beautiful! A palace for ours chickens... I've wanted these birds for years, but i didn't have space for them. And with this I can start thinking on the idea again. i´m so happy :)))

Not just for chickens, the Eglu comes with modifications for rabbits and guinea pigs, too. The hutch is well insulated for year round use and is easy to clean. This is a really well thought out design- it's a shame it is only available from UK retailers!
