The madness. From Sinn of Germany, this watch is water-resistant to 1000 meters. That's over 3,000 feet. Where in the good lord's name do you go that you need that kind of water resistance??
Still, it's a pretty slick looking divers watch. It measures 44 mm in diameter. The steel used in the construction of the watch is 6 times harder than regular stainless steel. It's got a top-notch, anti-glare sapphire crystal. To maintain water-resistance, the watch contains copper sulphate capsules to absorb humidity and is filled with argon to equalize the pressure. It's anti-magnetic as well and has an operating range of -45º C to + 80º C. Best of all, you can use the chronograph underwater - the buttons won't leak.
So yeah, you can take this pretty much anywhere. $4,360.
