"Bracelets in the East series combine rather free manner of design characteristic of the Oriental school of jewelry with traditionally austere motifs of European accessories for the evening dress. The strict geometry of the plaques made of natural stones and the rectangular form of the major decorative elements are somewhat mitigated by a symbolic ornamentation composed of twining sun beams.
