  My mom has been struggling with her recent menopause, and I wanted to do something nice for her. One of our traditions is giving greeting cards to each other (its something my grandmother started years ago) and I wanted to find a card specific to this that would cheer her up a bit. I did a google search and stumbled upon a great website, www.greetingcarduniverse.com. Made up of cards designed by freelance artists, I thought this site would be a great way to get the specific card I needed. You can personalize them and send them right away – which is perfect since my mom lives almost 2,000 miles away and I wanted her to get it as soon as possible! When I searched and didn’t find the super-funny card I had in mind, a request form popped up and I gave my request – which was forwarded to the designing artists. In result, nearly a day later, my request had launched more than 15 cards to choose from. This is a great site and I will definitely be back!
