"The book looks at a series of bold, innovative designs that were generated by a group of young designers as propaganda in the Soviet Union between 1927 and 1933. As an experiment it failed because the comrades preferred their traditional floral textile prints. This book sets these designs in the historical and cultural context of the Soviet Union."
