Something about Elizabeth Paige Smith’s Kittypod looks almost religious—it’s like an altar to “the mystical divinity of unashamed felinity,” to quote a famously derided musical. (About cats. You can figure it out.) Except that there’s no sacrificing involved; instead, you actually get a fantastically stylish piece of furniture and a very pampered kitty. The industrial-strength corrugated cardboard bed is designed to be comfortable and fun for your cat, and the maple base is both attractive and sturdy.

This is great for cats that like to be on elevated surfaces so they can better survey what's going on. What's wonderful about this is that it's made corrugated cardboard so the surface is soft, ventilated, and appropriate for scratching. The base is made from maple.
