Traditional design with funky colours? I love it!

I can see this paired with a lovely glass table, either in a completely modern place, or as a flash of colour in a more subdued environment!

Fabulous! I saw these a little while ago on here and they spurred me to comb the thrift stores and used furniture stores of LA in search of some Louis XV-esque goodies. Alas, all the good stuff has already been combed over - but I have not given up!
I DID find an ornate carved headboard on my street that I spray painted a satin black - gorgeous! I WILL find chairs like this... <crossing fingers>
