The Rancilio MD 80 coffee grinder has 2.9" diameter grinding burrs, and will grind up to 30 pounds of coffee per hour. The dose size can be adjusted within the range of 3 to 9 grams (0.1 to 0.3 ounces). The hopper holds over 3 pounds of coffee beans.

The MD 80 coffee grinder comes as a fully automatic (AT) coffee grinder. The fully automatic MD 80 coffee grinder has a sensor in the dosing chamber, and automatically turns the coffee grinder on and off as appropriate to maintain a useable amount of ground coffee in the dosing chamber.
