Description
Arts and Crafts Period Textiles, reproducing turn-of-the-twentieth-century fabrics for fans of Stickley furniture and Rookwood pottery, doesn’t do orange checks or custom weaving, but it does offer quietly appropriate custom stenciling or hand-embroidery on subdued imported linens or sheer cottons. Owner Dianne Ayres studied textile arts in college and became seriously interested in Arts and Crafts design through her husband. Although the standard Gingko and Checkerberry patterns are customer favorites, she says, Ayres and the three talented ladies who do her embroidery always enjoy the challenge of special orders.
