You will either love or hate this polarizing film! Some call is vile and disgusting while others praise it as edgy and genuis! Requiem for a Dream is a vivid story about four people whose lives are shattered by drug addiction. The visual effects and terrifying soundtrack will stay fresh in your mind for a long time.

Not you typical happy go lucky film!

Freaky movie that was well done and it is based on the novel by Hubert Selby Jr., and its is undoubtedly one of the most effective films ever made about the experience of drug addiction.

WHAT IS A REQUIEM? A LOVE SONG? WELL CONSIDER JARED LETO AND JENNIFER CONNELLY TO BE STARING IN THIS THE SADDEST LOVE SONG FOR A JUNKY! THIS MOVIE WILL SCARE THE TOXINS RIGHT OUT OF YOUR BODY! NOT TO SPOIL THE FILM BUT WHAT GOOD USUALLY COMES FROM DRUGS? MOSTLY JAIL, PROSTITUTION, DEATH AND INSANITY! (USUALLY IN THAT ORDER) FANTASTICALLY WRITTEN AND DIRECTED! THE IMAGERY IS BONE CHILLING!

fair warning: you're going to want to be able to mope around for a while after watching this intense and very sad movie. but it is a truly incredible commentary on drug culture today. it is an all around amazing flick that's perfect for a rainy day.

This movie probably makes me feel more depressed than high, but it's definitely a good film. The cinematography is amazing and the storyline is all but shocking. Watch as four characters get addicted to heroin or speed, and the events that follow.

This movie is completely freaky and weird, but I love it. Maybe its because I have a thing for movies about drugs or a thing for Jared Leto (pre- his rocker persona).
