What do you do when you wake up looking like your hair is more fit for a bird than a public appearance? Well, first you put on a hat. Then you put on dark sunglasses. Then you take your hot mess looking self to the nearest Nordstrom for haircare products.
That was me yesterday. My hair look like, well, it looked like a bird's nest. Not sexy at all.
As I was hunting for products a heavenly light shone down on this bottle of Biosilk. It looked glossy and shiny -- everything my hair wasn't. I picked up a bottle and headed straight for the register ... I also picked up a LAMB top and some hair pomade on the way (what they were good deals).
When I got home I wrapped combed and lightly coated my hair with this magical potion. I popped on my D&G scarf and laid on the coach to watch An American in Paris. By the time the movie was over my hair had returned to it's non-bird's nest state. Best money I ever spent (that day).

A solid foundation is the essential beginning to all good things. Hair is no different. Straight, wavy and especially curly hair can all benefit from this miracle serum (that Allure readers named a best product) that makes all dry hair thick or thin turn silky and shiny while eliminating the frizz.
First off, why is some hair curly and some hair straight? The hair follicle shape! A round follicle will produce straight hair. A follicle that is oval in shape will produce wavy hair. Curly hair occurs when the shape of the follicle is flat. Curly hair is dry by nature, strong and coarse. We need all the silky shiny moisture we can get!
Biosilk Serum contains concentrated silk, fortified with botanicals and Vitamin E, with added sunscreen and can be used on wet or dry hair. For us curly girls, use this while wet. It should be the second thing you put into your hair, after some leave-in conditioner.

Silk Therapy tames my hair and gives my hair a really sleek silk finish. But be CAREFUL...a little goes a LONG way. Everyone whose hair tends to get dry and frizzy should use it. It works so well on my hair AND it’s a great skin moisturizer too! (Makes the skin so silky smooth…you would never imagine that this clear gel could do this!)
This is now one of my STAPLE products. This is the best post style "serum" I've used. It smells fresh and fruity and isn't too heavy or greasy. It really doesn't weigh your style down, just preserves it in humidity, adds shine and makes split ends temporarily disappear. Good stuff. Excellent for when you blow dry your hair, although I also liked the effect on days when I wanted to give my hair a rest and just let it air dry. I always get a smooth, silky result.
