This Panasonic LCD rocks In-Plane Switching which gives you the ability to get a clear picture no matter where you are in the room (except behind it obviously). Most TVs generally top out at 178 degrees, so this is a nice benefit. The set also comes with active light control, which measures the ambient light and adjusts the brightness and contrast to match. It gets close to 1080i, but at under 2k, you can't ask for much more.
