Jamie Foxx did a great job in this film. Telling the life of Ray Charles who contributed to the end of Jim Crow laws by refusing to play at them (although he did play at Jim Crow events for a while). Ray Charles had a rough upbringing and for him to be able to achieve the level of success that he did means that their is hope for us all. The girls who plays Rays wife in this movie is finbe. I can never remember her name though.

It's roles like this that define an actor and Jamie Foxx nailed it. This film is a perfect depiction of the music legend and is brilliant by all definitions of the word. There wasn't just Oscar hubbub surrounding it when it first came out, I have a feeling people will be talking about this film for a very long time.
