This is such an awesome camera. The pictures I have taken with this camera are simply beautiful. It's easy to operate and travel with( if you want one even easier to travel with buy the D40 ). In comparison to the D80 you will end up getting the same images in 5x7 and 8x10 formats. In truth unless you are shooting professionally you will not see the pixel advantage. And.....AND.....I just bought one for my buddy for his birthday and I bought one perfectly used from Samy's LA for $350. So buy a used one cheap and remember what it was like to take photos with your first camera.

I borrowed one of these from a friend and I really REALLY didn't want to give it back! Great image quality and ease of use. Now if only I can come up with the money...
