An excellent electric shaver. I'm not 100% sure if the extra vibrations move the hairs around, but this foil cuter shaver does seem to do quick work of my beard, and the closest cut I've gotten from one so far. It's got good looks, and comes with a cool (though space hogging) charging and cleaning base station. Press the clean button after each shave, and next time, you'll be greeted with a clean, lemony-citrus fresh shaver.

The cleaning cycle can take up to 20 minutes or so and is a little noisy. The pop up trimmer is small and pretty weak, though it can cut the small hairs that it is intended for - if you want a beard trimmer, you will need to buy a dedicated one.

Otherwise, I heartily recommend this shaver.

My favorite electric shaver! I have owned previous electric shavers from Braun and I tried the Philips arcitec 1050 and did not like it at all. It did not produce a close shave.

It does cause irritation the first two weeks because it does produce a very close shave! Just give it two weeks and you will be fine. Also you should use a pre-electric aftershave it will produce a closer shave! But this is the best electric shaver out!
