On the subway or Laying out in Strawberry you might want to escape the volume of the city. Shuffles are easy to hide and transport in your purse or pocket. Plus they hold enough songs to keep you entertained. (via apple.com)

The iPod shuffle is so tiny and amazing. I had one and I'd always misplace it. That sounds like a bad thing and it probably is if you have a habit of losing things forever, but it's a huge positive if you like to stick things in your pocket or clip it on somewhere and go. Plus it comes in bright neon colors and holds tons of music now since it's upgraded to 2 gb.

The iPod shuffle is so small and light that you will not know that it is attached to your body! I love to take this running and working out because it is so light and easy to carry around.

When I run....I only need this. I only run a 5k so I never need more than this. It is light and easy to use. Nothing more ...nothing less.

It only does one thing, but does it well...plays audio music and podcasts. The Shuffle is a tiny device that clips on anything, but holds a remarkable quantity of sound. Easy to use, easy to own. (via David Siegel)

Affordable. Portable. Dependable. I have an iPhone and still often use my Shuffle due to its size convenience. Just clip it on to your shirt and you'll almost forget it's there. This is perfect if you need a soundtrack for a gym workout or a long jog.

I have the old ipod nano, but over time I realized the only time I really use it alot is when working out, and the size of it bugged me. I borrowed this version of the ipod shuffle one day and it was amazing to run with. I barely felt it at all.

Now when are they going to put these features into a watch with cordless ear buds?
