Malibu Chill + Downtown L.A. Industrial = Sjobeck Denim
Their glass-front shipping container store in Paradise Cove (that's right, home of the $19 tuna melt and L.A. county's only toes-in-the-sand Bloody Mary) is a revelation: workwear-influenced denim and knits for guys and gals. Refreshingly limited branding/ornamentation on the jeans and tops. Superwee gym shorts with Sjobeck's signature anvil print are highly covet-worthy for beach bunnies.
Keep an eye this line: It's the new new James Perse, souped up with the addition of tough-but-tender denim.
