Description

Went here for the first time today and I was shocked by how busy it was! I sampled a variety of items and I was pleasantly suprised. The frosting they use on the cupcakes and a variety of other items is extremely tasty (and made out of rice milk!). I offered the goodies to several of my non-vegan friends and they all really enjoyed them. The only downside (besides the somewhat inconvenient location for those who don't live on the lower east side) is the price. All of the treats are between $2 and $5 each for individual portions, and around $30 for a whole loaf of banana bread or a whole crumb cake. Babycakes makes a great treat but it's too expensive for daily enjoyment.
