What a brilliant (and desperately needed!) gift for the modern boy!

We're in a day and age where kids aren't encouraged to go outside and play. Helmets? Give me a break. That's what your skull is for! Some communities have outlawed the deep end of public swimming pools, parents would rather see their kids playing video games "safely at home", and a scraped knee immediately calls for a full-body immersion in Purel.

Boys (and girls) need to lead dangerous lives. It's part of growing up. It's important to push those boundaries and learn how the world works the hard way. Otherwise you'll grow up soft and dull, camoflauged in khaki and dying slowly in a lame desk job.

Get these books for every boy and girl you know under the age of 14. Now. It's your civic duty to the future.

While I am sadly no longer a boy, this book is a nice read for all guys. Ever wanted to know how to navigate by the stars, the sun and the moon? How to use a compass correctly? How to administer first aid? Build a tree house?

This book has lots of these things and more, plus stories about famous battles and intrepid explorers. It should be right up every boy's alley.

It also has a small section on how to deal with girls. It's general message is, don't make rude noises and don't insult one. Oh, if this were all it took....

A nice gift and is well priced on Amazon.
