A simple, over-the-shoulder all-purpose bag will always be welcomed by my wife and other women I know. Different than a handbag, this is a bit more sporty and can be carried "in addition to" a handbag without looking like she's carrying two. Now that's smart. $160

As someone who loves simple yet stylish accessories, I am a fan of Prada's nylon bags. This one in particular is handy for people on-the-go. However, if you tend to use and abuse your bags (as I unfortunately do) make sure you keep the manufacturer's card that comes with it. Unlike Ferragamo or Gucci, Prada stores will not make any repairs to bags without that card. It's like the gate key. As in: "Give us the gate key." "What gate key?" "Fezzik, tear his arms off." "Oh you mean this gate key."
