OK - I cannot tell you how many bananas I have thrown out because of the damage occurred in a backpack or sport bag. This is one of those "why didn't I think of it" ideas that is sure to save the dying breed of bananas on route. A great stocking stuffer!

This may be my all-time favorite fruit protection product (because we all know there are SO many of them out there). I've actually tried the competing product, Banana Guard, and the Banana Bunker was, in my opinion, vastly superior.

-Banana Bunker lets you see your precious cargo
-Banana Bunker looks super filthy
-Banana Bunker will hold almost any banana, while the competitor (in my experiment) could only accommodate about 50% of the bananas I tried. (via Banana Bunker Action Video)

I laughed when I first saw this-- mostly because I think it's funny, but also think because I think it's genious!!! As someone who packs her lunch everyday, I must say the banana really gets the crummy end of the stick because it's the one that gets bounced all around in my lunch bag, while all my other goodies are safe in their tupperware.

I'm gonna get one of these, and soon!
