My friend turned me on to Basil Hayden. It's better to have it on the rocks than neat. Can't explain it but I find myself asking for that now instead of my previous, Jameson. Good stuff. (via Netzoo)

I drink bourbron though most of the winter and this is a very nice, smooth and full bodied bourbon. Bourbon isn't for mixing but if you need a version that isn't so strong add soda water, not a sugary mixer.
