Rapunzel dark-chocolate candy bars are delicious, good for you (according to the latest research on cacao-rich foods), and compliant with both organic and FairTrade regulations.

Rapunzel is one of the pioneers in organic and fairtrade foods and goods. They are based in southern Germany, where also most of their end products are produced. The amount of organic fairtrade raw foods used for production is at currently 10% and rising.

What I like especially about their products (and any truly organic products) is that they are neither oversweetened (e.g. their almond spread or chocolates) nor oversalted (e.g. their sauces and soups).

Conventional food industry got us used to artificial flavours, sweeteners and sugar, salts and flavour enhancers. Not only is it unhealthy, but we also fool ourselves, because we forget to value and appreciate nature's gifts. Who can wholeheartedly say they've tasted a truly ripe apple or tomatoe?

Rapunzel products are available in many international locations: http://www.rapunzel.de/uk/index.php?plink=vertriebspartner&alink=home&fs=&l=0
