I like mixing my own fitness drinks, and GNC's 100% Whey Protein is the perfect 'base' for every protein shake. Whey protein is absorbed fast, so it's good for both pre- and post- workout drinks.
This protein dissolves in either water, juice, or milk fast, and I like how the Mixed Berry kind tastes - it's less sweet compared to other flavors.
I usually mix two scoops of GNC 100% Whey Protein with 3 cups of water for a thin pre- and during- workout drink (I usually add 5g of creatine as well). Two more scoops mixed with 2.5 cups of carb-rich white grape juice along with 5g of creatine monohydrate and 10g of L-glutamine work well for a post-workout drink.
