Just like a professional pool cue, these tools of eating wonder are made in parts. The stainless steel upper section is hollow. Pop the top off and slide the white ash lower section out. The wooden tip screws into the upper section using all brass hardware. And now you are ready to eat. When you are all done, wash the chopsticks, collapse them, and store them in the included weather resistant nylon pouch.

I think I'll go have lunch with James Bond and see if he can top this one!

Chopsticks, who doesn't need them? Well, I can't think of any particular time that I've needed my own pair. However, if i ever come to the point in my life where I think i might need some. These will be the ones.

I'm not a regular user of the ancient chopstick during meals, but if I was, I would carry these cool new Collapsible Chopsticks ($30). Simply slide the wooden white ash tips out of the hollow stainless steel upper section and screw the two pieces together using the all brass hardware. After you are finished with your meal, wash the chopsticks, collapse them back down and stow them safely away in the included weather-resistant nylon pouch. The white ash wooden tips are made from recycled baseball bats from local teams in Japan and coated with an all natural tree sap based finish. (via Michael Kiely)

I don't use disposable chopsticks any more now that I carry these with me when I go out. Every little bit helps. (via John_and_Rose)
