The Breathe Mat Bag has the standard well-made touches: large main compartment for yoga mat/rug, mesh panel for air circulation, full-length secondary pocket (external) for extra gear.

But the external pocket is where the real genius lies. Inside is a zip-off pocket for your personal gear (wallet, cellphone, etc.) including a key fob. So all this valuable stuff isn't sloshing around a huge compartment, and you can quickly zip off just this pocket to keep next to you on the practice floor, while leaving your bulky bag out of the way.

I met STM's Adina Jacobs at MacWorld Expo 2007, and she confessed that even though this yoga bag had little to do with the rest of her products (mostly backpacks and shoulder bags for laptops and other computer gear), she was a yoga junkie, too, and was frustrated with the bags on the market. So, like lots of other innovators, she made the solution herself.
