I started drinking Ca phe Sua Da (Vietnamese iced coffee) before I can remember. I’m not sure if the buzz I get is from the caffeine or from the sugar. Probably both. You know why it’s so good? Because it’s like drinking melted Haagen-Dazs coffee ice cream. Now, that is decadent. I prefer mine iced, but drinking it hot is appropriate for mornings. My brother Dave swears Trung-Nguyen coffee is ‘the best ever’ and has been seeking it for years. He’s very excited they are now distributed in the United States . Word is they are the Starbucks of Vietnam (more than a hundred coffee shops and a big export program). I’m not sure if that bit of info is a good thing, but I’m glad to see them doing so well.
