Kill Bill, Volume 2

"Kill Bill Vol. 1" was a pure action movie, in love with collisions of violent movement. “Vol. 2” relaxes the pace, allowing for extended monologues. Those who lamented the first film's lack of wicked word exchanges should delight in Carradine's final soliloquy.

The second installment of Tarantino's two-part series, Kill Bill Volume 2 reunites us with "the Bride" (Uma Thurman), now halfway done exacting her revenge on her would-be murderers. This volume is less violent and affected than the first, finding depth of emotion in its spaghetti Western format. Still delivers the hard-hitting action scenes though, with a couple of cringe worthy gore moments.
