Oh where do I begin? I know many people who were turned off by the "dark" subject matter but underneath it this show has some incredible humor. First, it struck me as one of the most real shows I've ever watched. No shiny happy bows. This is life people and sometimes it sucks and sometimes it doesn't. Second, there is NO show that has done a better job at character development . No one. A++ Alan Ball. Third, the writing and the acting. Tremendous. Brilliant. I can't say enough. I loved Peter Krouse in Sports Night and I love him even more now. Watch out for this guy. Fourth, it's the best show I have ever seen. Hands. Down.

Anyone who has borrowed the DVD's for a weekend has returned them with statements like: "This show is like crack," "I couldn't stop watching it. I stayed up for 12 hours straight."

So load up on the Netflix, get your food for the day and settle in. If you're a fan of quality entertainment this is it. Look no further. Long live SFU. (via HBO)
