A long way from the cute and cuddly image that we in the West usually associate with the Panda, these vaguely demented Panda toys are the smaller cousins to the ones featured in the China Design Now exhibition at the V&A and vary from cute and silly to really rather evil looking. Their Shanghai-based designer Ji Ji joked, ‘These Pandas sculptures can be interpreted as the portrait of the generation of the people born in the 1980s’. Not suitable for young children. One of three panda toy designs from young urban designers Shirtflag. Panda measures 9cm high. Not suitable for children under 3 years.

The V&A Shop has three designs available 'Evil Eyes', 'Smiley' and 'Bruised'.
