The first time I had Illy coffee was in a high-end sushi restaurant in Austin. I was given my own little french press, a sturdy cup, and a miniature pitcher of heavy, heavy cream. It was rich, dark, and extremely smooth. The flavor stood up and slapped me, and then hugged me. I've never loved another coffee since. (And coming from CDM w/chicory every morning, that's saying something.)

Illy coffee is at the top of my list. Whether you drink it as espresso, drip coffee, french press, you will not be disappointed. The taste is smooth, yet strong, with no bitter aftertaste. Starbucks and Dunkin have no change to survive when your cabinets are filled with illy coffee.

You don't even need an espresso machine - just add freshly brewed Illy to hot milk, and you have an instant latte! This is great coffee, it's even good after sitting in the coffeepot all day.
