In Scandinavia our Christmas lighting and decor is very subtle, but the traditional paper/lantern star that we hang in our windows has become one of the latest trends. They're big, bright, and now offer the most amazing colours and patterns. Yes this doesn't have the traditional colours of Christmas but that's what I like about it. The gorgeous design and use of non-traditional colours is very eye-catching and definitely not boring.
