This is a simple game that tends to engender lots of laughter. We play this every time the board games come out and it never ceases to please. It's easy to learn, fun to play, and can last as long as you like. It doesn't matter how well you know the people you're playing with either, so it's a fun "get to know you" game.

With no tv, no phone, no ipod, nothing....you're going to need something to do. I've had soooooo many laughs at parties with this game. It's a must have in our household, hurricane or not.

A surprisingly fun game to play at parties, that is more fun the more obnoxious and competitive your friends are. This game made it into our his through our tween kids, but we often play it at parties with no kids present.
The better you know the people are playing with, the better your chance of winning this game that only requires getting the other players to like what you have chosen. The primary social danger of this game is that it often leads to persistent inside jokes that anyone who wasn't playing won't get.

This is a fun game to play with a group of really close friends, or a group of people you're just getting to know. It gets you inside the head of everyone playing. It also offers the opportunity for fierce competition.

Apples to Apples is our favorite new party game by far. It's excellent when people drop by, or to introduce people to each other. Much ice has been broken at our house with this game. I'm sure we'll be playing it a lot over the holidays. If you've never played the game or aren't sure what it is, you can get a taste of it at www.playyourredcard.com.

Fun with a group of middle school aged kids, it also gets creative minds going as you combine things that really aren't similar at all, but only in imaganitive ways. The joy that the judge finds the same way you did to fit things together is great =p

Played this at a friend's house, it's kind of fun, and wouldn't mind having one for myself.

I've played this game and it's really fun, but it's not for the faint at heart. You match the adjective card on the table with a noun or verb card from your hand and the designated judge for each round decides if he/she agrees with your match. The debate can get really heated.
