Description
Sigg offers a number of choices in the bottle top department. But for everyday and all-around use, I think their ActiveTop cap is the best.
The bottle top (the white portion in the pictures) twists in two directions - in one direction the bottle is sealed. In the other it is 'Open', but your drink will not spill, even if you forget to close it. You can turn the bottle upside down, and not a drop will come out.
So how do you drink? When the bottle top is twisted in the 'Open' position, water only flows out when you press down on the top with your lips. Let go, and the bottle will seal itself again
This makes it really versatile. Before you leave the house, twist the top into the 'Open' position. The bottle cap, which protects the top from dirt and grime, is opened with a quick flip of your finger. Press your lips down firmly and you get access to your drink.
With this system, you never have to touch the bottle top itself - so your grimy, bike trailed hands won't ever mix with your drink. Get one of these if you don't already have one - they come in lots of colors too, not just orange.
