I've never seen this 1988 Australian animated movie. Apparently, its a musical version. In my attempt to watch every Alice in Wonderland movie, I'll need to check this one out. (via Amazon)

If this is the one distributed by Children's Video of America, Inc., it looks like a cheezy kids cartoon, but it has a clever script. Modeled on Disney's version. Cute Alice. Too many Hollywood-type voices. Weird sexual overtones, (there usually are). Pig and Pepper is highly disturbing in this film and the film gets too noisy. The Italian cook came over from a Hollywood film. Includes the Mock Turtle, but he is not as funny as he is in the book.
