Since I don't see myself spearchucking it in the woods for firewood (I live in the city), I figured why not have a fireplace that doesn't require a whole lot of maintainance?!!! I can read a book by the fire and not worry about my book catching fire from a snap, crackle and pop of the fire!!! I love simple decorating!!
