IMHO - About A Bot is Hugh Grant's best movie yet (ok, besides Love Actually). Nick Hornby's popular novel translates fabulously into film with an all star cast and a script to match. About A Bot is a quirky, honest and heart-warming movie.

There are really two boys in this movie: the chronological one (Nicholas Hoult) and the emotional one (Hugh Grant). As odd as any couple could possibly be, the two manage to help each other find themselves and forge a genuine friendship in the process.

Who knew Hugh Grant could be more than a floppy-haired, stuttering charmer? And who knew that American Pie directors Chris & Paul Weitz could forgo cheap sex jokes? It has a perfectly pitched soundtrack by Badly Drawn Boy, characters that you feel for because they're real and at it's heart it's an honest treat that never sinks to schmaltzy tearjerker status. It's also got the vastly underrated Toni Colette who never fails to make every film she's in just that little bit better.
