You’re sitting down to lunch with a friend and you’re seated at a round table with round backed chairs. Where do you put your bag in this situation? Do you simply toss it on the grimy carpet? Or sit with it in your lap for the entire meal?

Those were the choices faced by actress Rose McGowan while lunching with friend Natasha Andres. That is, until Natasha introduced Rose to her favorite collectible-purse caddies. Popular in the 1930’s, think of them as cup hooks that attach to the table leaving you with a place to hang your handbag. Rose and Natasha decided to create their own and Pinken Mint was born. They have updated the styling of the hook to make it more “strap friendly” and offer designs with art-deco colors and semi-precious stones. As they note on their website “a purse is a symbol of who you are... and it should never be put at risk or sat upon.” - and with a purse caddy you will be able to focus on dishing the dirt, not cleaning it off of your bag.
