If you've seen Danny Boyle's SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, you will love A R Rahman's accompanying soundtrack. The music is truly amazing and features some of India's top artists.

A combination of music composed specifically for the movie by AR Rahman (who has received several Academy Award nominations);"Paper Planes" by M.I.A.; a few slick remixes; and more, this album is a feast for the ears.

I'm a pretty big fan of world music. Just call me culturally schizophrenic and very curious when it comes to the arts. I haven't seen the film yet, but that didn't keep me from sampling the soundtrack. It is awash in textures of Indian electronica, hip-hop and trip-hop. A treat for the senses. (via amazon.com)

Very enjoyable movie with a soundtrack that sounds like nothing in my collection.

Alll around, this was one of the more fantastic films I've seen. The soundtrack is definitely not the exception. It's MIA and AR Rahman. The version of Paper Planes, alone is enough to make this one buyable.
