In the summer of ’05, I stopped using my electric dryer. One day I woke up and said—the Sun provides all this heat for free, why in the heck am I paying for electricity? My electricity bill was reduced by 25% the first month. I saved enough in just the first two months, that I used the drying rack to pay for the rack—so now I feel good about saving money and doing good for the environment.
