Wonderful version. Colin Firth is brilliant in this. A&E and BBC make great Austen movies.

My gosh this is movie is so long(i'm not sure exactly but about seven hours) but when your done, you'll still want more! An amazing romantic movie, it really resembles the book quite well. There dialogue is nearly identical to that of the book and because it's so long it's able to give you just about everything(scenes, speaches) of what happens in the book. For a movie version of a book this one sure does it justice.

More faithful than it's 2005 movie adaptation-sibling, this classic version of Pride and Prejudice stays true to the novel, and offers up what is, to me at least, the best Mr. Darcy there has ever been on screen. The feel is very much relaxed whilst sticking to its roots, and does not at all become boring or tiresome. The best thing about this version, where it definitely excels over the 2005 version, is surely in the portrayal of Elizabeth Bennet. If you're in search of a strong woman, then you will find her here.

Wonderful love story but the icing on the cake is the dreamy Brit, Colin Firth, as Mr. Darcy. This is the best movie ever made......................

This is tied with Sense and Sensibility for all-time fave. The best Pride and Prejudice film rendition. And Colin Firth is hot in this. heh
